Dissidia Final Fantasy Collectors Edition

This is the collectors Edition of Dissidia Final Fantasy, which was released in the UK on the 4th of September 2009 for the Sony PSP. This collection is one of few PSP special editions which I own. The game was released to coincide with the 20th anniversary of Final Fantasy.

I got this set of Ebay around the time of its release. The Set itself contains the PSP UMD, artbook, guidebook, micro CD soundtrack and two art cards.

The UMD disk itself comes in an ordinary PSP game case, though this one has a reversible front cover, which some shops chose to market it in two halves of a stand, one side dark the other light. This theme runs throughout the entirety of this collection.

The art book for me was a bit of a dissapointment, with it being very basic and a few images of each character. I personally was hoping for something more along the lines of production artwork or sketches etc.

The sound tack comes on a Micro CD, with the case having "goodies" on one side and "baddies" on the other. A theme that runs throughout the entirety of the collection. From the reversible cover for the game, to the front and back inside the art book. It also comes with a track listing on a small piece of paper with it.

Also in the collection is a set of two lithograph prints, packaged together with a Dissidia Final Fantasy paper band. One again depicts the "goodies" while the other depicts the bad guys!

Next in the collection is the mini guide produced by "Brady Games" who are well known for producing strategy guides for video games. This is an extremely thinned down version of the official guide. With that said it does contain some useful hints and tips to help you get going.

That is the complete collection, but in mine I also have some promo art cards that I keep inside the set. I'm not 100% sure where these are from but I presume they are some sort of pre-order or promo give away. These come in a white envelope with the Dissidia logo on the front. They are art cards but have postcard prints on the back. Anyone still send post cards?
