Resident Evil (Biohazard) Samurai Edge Air Gun

So its finially here, the video iv'e been waiting ages to do. This is my review of the Biohazard / Resident Evil Airgun that was released by Tokyo Marui.

Above: what you see when you open the box, control your selves nerds!
Video and more pictures after the Jump!
So I finialy managed to get round to picking up some gas to fill up this bad boy and damn I sure am happy I did!

Close up on the stars logo on the guns grip, this features on both sides of the grip.

Right side of the gun, printed into the gun is the Mod. Samurai Edge Law enforcement use only

STARS logo printed onto the left side of the gun

When the gun is taken out the word Samurai is printed into the polystyrene of the inlay tray.

Magazine for the gun, also acts as the housing for the gas tank, and what I believe to be a cleaning rod. The rod is made of plastic and is there more for show than anything.

Bottom of the magazine, here is the hole where you refill the Gas. This is similar to refilling a disposable lighter. The magazine is surprisingly heavy but adds a nice weight to the gun, more of a realistic feel.

Magazine and cleaning rod again. This is the release for the gas, this is what gives the gun its blowback aswell as what fires the BB's

Bad Boy: on this side of the gun we have the slide release, lock, magazine release button and safety catch respectively. Though the safety is ambidextrous and appears on both sides, the magazine release button does not, this means the gun is tailored better to the use of right handed people.

The gun locks in the position when the magazine is empty. Note the catch on this side has lifted up to hold the gun in place. This can be done manually at any time, though the gun does it itself when the magazine has ran out.

Poor quality photo, my apologise. This is the top down view of the gun in the same position as the above photo.

Same position, opposite side. This side has the slide release button in it aswell as a piece of metal that moves when the trigger is pulled, I believe this is also some how connected to the catch on the opposite side.

Rear of gun. the button that is just about visible in this poor photo (again my bad) is the fire release. When the trigger is pulled the hammer is released, hits this button, the BB fires and the slide cocks back itself, this again pushing down the hammer and re-loading the gun. The hammer can be pulled down manually before a shot is fired. it has two locking positions, half way and all the way. It is a double action hammer. When pulled all the way the trigger only needs a very small squeeze. When pulled half way down the trigger needs pulling for longer. The trigger can be seen moving back when pulled down to full position.

This is how the gun looks when it has been basically field stripped. The top of the gun basically slides off.

Upper part of the gun, inside this part is plastic and metal. The spring is very strong and works well to give the gun its blow back.

Looking down the gun when the top has been stripped and the magazine has been removed.

Manual on the left and the leaflet on the right hand side. The leaflet on the back shows how to break the gun down and lists all the parts.

Bizzare health and safety leaflet.

Back of leaflet showing the various parts of the gun.
