Cool Video Game Stuff I Own

So this blog/video is all about cool video game stuff I own.

A while ago I saw the Happyconsolegamers video and figured I'd do my own.

So the stuff here is stuff I consider to be "cool", as I mentioned in the video its not just the rare and expensive stuff I'm showing here, its just the stuff I really like and think is cool.

So why are you still reading this crap? scroll down and check out the cool shit below!

3 x Biohazard video game guides from Japan
Guides for games 1,2,3 from left to right

Below is the reverse of the guides from the above image.

Metal Gear solid Classified from the Japanese Premium Package

One of my favourite images from inside the book

Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core Limited edition for the Sony PSP.
Comes in a slip case with the game and a really nice art book. In my opinion the book is a lot better than the art book that came with Dissidia: Final Fantasy

Comix Zone for the Sega Mega Drive. This one has the "Roadkill" CD with it. The NTSC game came with a CD with various rock bands on it, this European game came with the soundtrack to the game on the CD, however it was arranged with real instruments such as your guitar, drums and bass. It also had vocals over the music. The name Roadkill is also shared with the characters pet rat in the game!

Final Fantasy VII and VIII art postcard books. Very similar in size, the VII book is noticeably white while the VIII book has an almost peal like finish too it. VIII is much easier to look through as there is 2 spines to it, whereas VII book is pretty difficult to look at.

Resident Evil Archives book on the left, and Biohazard Archives book on the right. Considering the content is almost the same its surprising there is such a big size difference There are differences to the books, often 2 pages from the English Version will be shared across two pages of the Japanese book. Colour schemes are also varied as are a few of the images, however the majority of the content is the same. Its worth noting, the English version has some pretty poor translations in part. It was also limited to 10'000 prints so is quite a rare item. Making this one for the collectors.

Insidedboth the books, comparing the same article together. English version again is on the left.

Dawn by Yoshitaka Amano a Squaresoft art veteran, who has worked on countless games.
I love his art style. This book shows some of his work from FF 1 -5

One of the huge fold out spreads inside the book, this is a 4 page spread!
The overall quality of the content of the book is fantastic, the overall quality of the book too is great, very high class materials, and prints.

Some more goodies from inside the book, the image on the left is one of my favourites from the book.

The official Sega Mega Drive Power Tips book, apologise for the shite photo!

An example of some of the content inside the book

The cracking Ascii keyboard controller for the Nintendo GameCube, got this beast in a trade with Interghost.

Close up of the plugs from the contoller, interestingly it has two parts to it, one to power the controller, the other to power the keyboard itself. As far as I know, Phantasy star online 1 and 2 are the only games to support the keyboard.

Below lots of snaps of the Resident Evil PS2 Chainsaw controller, limited to 50'000 units.

Another snap from the fantastic Final fantasy VII postcard book, for the whole page on this item click here!

And the kickass biohazard samurai edge airgun, again for lots more images click here!

Showed this off before in my MGS collection video, but this is the fantastic solar power using Gameboy Advance game, Boktai! Again another product of Hideo Kojima!

Tome Raider Fountain pen by Waterman

My Inspiration :  Hideo Kojima. Poster only available through the PURE HMV reward card scheme.
This poster is limited to only 1000 prints, and i'm nerdy enough to own two.
